I did a charity cycle ride from London to the Pyrenees nearly two years ago and played GA music the whole way, it was truly a life changing experience pedalling along with the music blasting out and thru generous support raised over £2500. I am a fan of Nicola and Girls Aloud and Nicola released her brilliant album Cinderella's Eyes. I started my cycle trip cycling through London and thought Hyde Park and the surrounding traffic free cycle paths would be great place to share Nicola's Music and some Girls Aloud with anyone who wanted to support The Muscular Dystrophy Charity Campaign. I can absolutely guarantee anyone who takes part will enjoy the experience. The route is approx 10 miles and is very easy with no hills and no traffic other than crossing roads via pedestrian crossings. Speakers Corner Buckingham Palace Big Ben and Trafalgar Square are on route and are good photo opportunities. Cycles can be hired and they are free for the first hour. Because the event is on a Sunday there are plenty of car parking spaces, and no congestion charge. I would prefer if we cycled as a group , so there will be no need for maps or directions, i can assure everyone that the pace will be slow. I have lots of amazing kindly donated Nicola goodies including a XL #TeamGinge Hoodie and wristband and lots of fantastic Dainty Doll cosmetics and an awesome Nicola Clock donated by Kevin one of Nicola's biggest fans to give as raffle prizes. A raffle ticket will be included in the £10 entry/donation fee as will refreshments. From reading about Nicola she works so hard for young people and her charities and i hope she will be proud of #teamginge if we raise some money for Muscular Dystrophy and play her music at the same time. It will be brill to take lots of pictures on route of London and us in our #teamginge gear which i hope we will be wearing . Please Support the Muscular Dystrophy charity campaign by donating the £10 entry fee ...Thanks. I have decided to cycle from Newark to London to arrive on April 1st...because of costs i will be doing the journey in short stages.

The start and finish will be in Hyde Park at 12 noon on April 1st 2012 and will take approx 2 hrs "everyone is welcome to join us" http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/cycling/15025.aspx for cycle hire
