I was made aware that a group of fellow ATCOs from E Watch at Glasgow ATC were embarking upon a charity cycle to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity following a sixth colleague having cause to use it's services. A good friend and colleague from Prestwick ATC is currently undergoing treatment at the Beatson which has driven me to drag the bike out of the shed, dust it off and join the fundraising initiative. 

So on the 25th August 2015 I will join eleven fellow fundraisers from Glasgow ATC and cycle the 82 mile Five Ferries route around the Firth of Clyde and the Inner Hebrides.

We'll be crossing the Isle of Arran onto the Kintyre then Cowal peninsulas, then crossing Bute before returning to the mainland for the final leg.
