Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know I had a pulmonary endarterectomy last September and as as part of my rehabilitation I have joined a team organised by Kevin May which aims to row across the channel this September.

Kevin had a heart transplant in November 2011 and has organised this event to raise awareness of the need for people to carry donor cards, for without his transplant he would not be here today. He is running an education and awareness programme about the importance of joining the national organ programme which you can visit at www.organsequallife.com.

As his awareness programme is self funding any monies raised will be donated to Ahoy Charity which works with disadvantaged young people and people with disabilities to change their lives through sailing and rowing activinowadays.
