I am rowing in a team across the channel with friends, yes the actual channel and yes I am tall enough to row in a boat!

Anyhow I would ask you to be generous as you can in sponsoring me for this unique challenge. Also they won't let us go until we have raised a little bit of money.

 

Here is the story of the full team:

 

You'll usually find us  providing statistical research and football modelling services.  but every Tuesday morning before we go to our day job, we are donning AHOY Buoyancy Jackets and training hard on the River Thames before we take up the AHOY Cross Channel Row Challenge!

 

The Smartodds team members are:

Parthiv Manikoth, Ricky Larrandart, Rob Mastrodomenico, Chris Galley, Andrew Knapp (when he has recovered from his wrist injury), Mattias Apers, Rui Reiss. 

 

For the challenge we will be rowing for nearly 4 hours across the English Channel across to France and our aim is to smash last year's current record holders!
