Edinburgh Marathon 2011 · 22 May 2011 ·

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A marathon is something I have talked about doing for a while, so this year I have decided to 'bite the bullet' and give it a go.

As an added incentive I am raising money for NACOA (The National Association For Children Of Alcoholics) who offer help, support and advice to young people throughout the country who have been affected by a loved ones addiction.

Any value of donation would be greatly received, so if you're feeling generous, don't be shy. I promise to do all that I can to drag my skinny backside round the course and cross that finish line.

Cheers

Bob
