Story
I am cycling leg 1 of the Dallaglio Cycle Slam on 12th February 2010, 679 km over 5 days from Rome to Nice.
Next year I will celebrating 2 mile stones in my life, 25 successful years of my business Haringtons Hairdressing as well as my 50th Birthday. I thought now was the perfect time to mark these occasions with a new challenge, and to try give to something back for the good fortune I have had, as I realise not everyone has been as fortunate.
When I heard about the Dallaglio Cycle Slam and the charities it supports, Sports Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation for Cancer Research UK, Help for Heroes, RPA Benevolent Fund, Leukaemia Research and DebRA, I thought this would be the perfect way to accomplish my goals.
The Cycle Slam is hoping to raise £1 million for the charities, so all donations count! My personal target is £10,000 so please help me achieve this by giving as much as you can to these wonderful charities.
