Story
My great grandfather died from Leukaemia in 1977 before i was born.
In 2007 when i was 17 my Father was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukaemia known as Hairy Cell Leukaemia.
Had my dad been diagnosed some 20 - 30 years ago his prognosis would have been less than positive. It is through the work of Bloodwise over the past 55 years that has funded major advances in the treatments available today.
In 2017 it will be the ten year anniversary since my Father has been diagnosed and free from Leukaemia. in September I will be cycling with my Dad from London to Paris to raise money for Bloodwise to help beat blood cancers.
If you could sponsor me i would be most grateful as had it not been for Bloodwise's work and research my father would not be here today.
P.S. I have funded this challenge myself so every penny donated will go to the charity. I have also managed to leave all my training till the last minute! Having never been on a road bike before it will make for a interesting trip!
