Story

Time for a new challenge. This time I'm going to race in Silverstone :) Unfortunately I won't be competing with Hamilton or Button, but still, competition will be fierce. The race is a half-marathon, and my great ambition is to ... complete. Well, I have some more ambitious target in mind, but as it is my very first half-marathon and my preparations are not exactly going as planned (I blame the weather and my mother-in-law who cooked some delicious stuff for Xmas) I will not share it in public :)
And anyway - the main  goal is to convince you to chip in a few pounds for JDRF. Two of our boys must live with type 1 diabetes so we are doing our best to support those guys who are working to find a cure for this disease.

The JDRF was founded in 1986 and has raised over £700 million worldwide on its dedicated mission to fund scientific research into a cure specifically targeted at Type 1 Diabetes in young people. I cannot stress the crucial importance of every penny as you contribute to raise vital funds towards finding a cure for the millions of young sufferers in the UK struck by the chronic, life-threatening strains of the disease which has a life-long impact on is victims and their families.
