We will walk the Kintyre Way from 23rd May to 26th May 2011, in aid of Down's Syndrome Scotland.
Down's Syndrome Scotland works to improve the quality of life for everyone with Down's Syndrome and their families.
Down's Syndrome is a chromosomal disorder which affects about 1 in every 700 births and can impair cognitive and physical development. Our friends' little boy has Down's Syndrome, which prompted us to fundraise for this very deserving cause.
The Kintyre Way criss-crosses the Kintyre Peninsula for 87 miles from Tarbert to Dunaverty. We will average just under 22 miles a day.
