Our vision is that society fully accepts and includes people with Ds. We support families and people with Ds to reach their fullest potential by providing a range of services, influencing public policy and by changing attitudes. We urgently need funding to help families who are struggling right now.

Story

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We will walk the Kintyre Way from 23rd May to 26th May 2011, in aid of Down's Syndrome Scotland.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Down's Syndrome Scotland works to improve the quality of life for everyone&nbsp;with Down's Syndrome and their families.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Down's Syndrome is a chromosomal disorder which affects about 1 in every&nbsp;700 births and can impair cognitive and physical development.&nbsp; Our friends' little boy has Down's Syndrome, which prompted us to fundraise for this very deserving cause.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Kintyre Way criss-crosses the Kintyre Peninsula&nbsp;for 87 miles from Tarbert&nbsp;to Dunaverty.&nbsp; We will average just under 22 miles a day.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We'd like to thank the following donors who have made off-line donations:</p> <p>Havelock Europa: &pound;100</p> <p>Fife Warehousing: &pound;100</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
