Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and sponsoring me for the benefit of the British Heart Foundation.

This is my third consecutive year of cycling the L2B bike ride. After reducing my time from 5 hours to 4 hours 10 minutes last year, I am aiming for a time less than 4 hours. To do this I will really appreciate the support to focus my training in advance of the event. Every penny is important and goes a long way towards life saving research into heart disease.

09.03.14 My first day of training started on the 9th March with a short ride out on the bike - 5.5 miles!!

16.03.14 Managed to get out on the bike this weekend - 10 miles in 50 minutes - a bit windy and it all seemed to be up hill, which can't be right! Cramp kicked in after 7 miles so need to work on endurance. Last year, when completing the 55 mile journey, my legs didn't work from about 20 miles onwards!
