Lighthouse is a life saving organisation committed to the prevention of suicide; the promotion of positive mental health and the provision of support services to families who have been bereaved by suicide. We provide a beacon of hope to individuals, families and communities.

Story

This year, I'm running the Belfast City Half Marathon to raise money for ''The Extra Mile' In Jim's Footsteps' campaign. This is being organised by one of my first clients. Please donate what you can afford to raise money for Lighthouse.

More about the campaign is below:

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Jim Bell died 5 years ago in November 2009.  He still is a much loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, colleague and teacher to us.  His life was well lived and his death a loss to many.  We hope, in his memory, to raise funds to provide education and counselling for those who find themselves in his situation.  Maybe we can make these people see that they are precious no matter how low they feel.

We've joined together to raise money for Lighthouse. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.

Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page.
