Vodafone Foundation are currently raising funds for their All Together Now campaign, to help more young refugees achieve their dreams through access to quality education, by expanding Instant Network Schools, a joint programme with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

Story

In September this year I will be cycling 969 miles to raise £3,000 to get 41,000 HIV positive children in Lesotho the life-saving treatment they need.

Lesotho is a landlocked country completely surrounded by South Africa.
Very few children survive beyond their fifth birthday if they do not receive the correct treatment and many of these children live in rural areas.

The funds I raise will be used to provide safe deliveries for mothers, preventing maternal death and the transmission of HIV from mothers to babies.

T
ravel funds will be sent via mobile, so children and expectant mothers can travel to treatment - this costs just £20

Test results will be sent via mobile speeding up both diagnosis and treatment - £50 pays for a mobile enabled paediatric HIV test including the transport of the blood sample

Mobile clinics via mobile will enable nurses to be connected, and more young people and mothers to be reached.

Thank you for helping make a difference :)
