Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I once knew someone when I was younger who had Leukaemia and  this is my way of doing something for them.

Within Brooks Macdonald, we have an established culture of Charitable giving. Staff have set up our own Foundation to support causes important to them. In addition to this, the Company contributes time and the costs involved for Staff to take part in an organised event, allowing them to raise money for Charity. This year, we have chosen Cure Leukaemia which supports research into the development of new drug and transplant treatments for patients with Blood cancers. The Charity supports the work at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham which is a world leading centre of excellence into treatments for this illness, which can be used elsewhere around the UK.

Given my experience I decided this was a good opportunity to raise funds for research.

Thank you for supporting our fund raising.
