Thanks for taking the time to visit my Skydive Fundraiser page. In a moment of bravado/foolishness, I've signed up to jump out of a plane at 10,000ft, then freefall for a mile at a speed of up to 190mph... With a parachute of course! Oh, and a wingman. It's a tandem jump, so I'm told I'll be in safe hands. But what's really great about this is that I'm not doing it out of any kind of self fulfilment now I'm fast approaching my middle age, but for a selection of truly worthy Cornish causes. Organised by Live Events South West, the main aim for the charity skydive is to raise over £3000 for the Cornwall Community Foundation, who successfully supports Cornish causes, making everyday life better for all in the local community. This year a large proportion of the funds raised will also be shared with Cornwall Befriending Scheme and Carefree Fostering Independence Cornwall to help them continue their great work here in Cornwall. So please dig deep, I will be as I'm dangling out of the door of a tiny little plane, way above the beautiful but distant Cornish coastline!
