Hi!,

I will be participating in a 24 hour fast from 23rd-24th March to raise awareness on the current plight across east Africa as drought, war and lack of food mean millions of children and their families are facing starvation with more than 880,000 children are severely malnourished. 

UNICEF is a wonderful charity which is providing life-saving supplies and services to children at risk in South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda, including clean water, food and vaccines  to protect children from the disastrous effects of drought and conflict. With your donations, we will be better able to help UNICEF to provide relief for these children! 

£5 could help provide life-saving food for a child for a week.

£15 could help provide life-saving therapeutic milk to treat two severely malnourished children.

£18 could provide 5,000 water purifying tablets to give families clean, safe water.

£23 COULD PROVIDE A MONTH'S SUPPLY OF LIFE-SAVING PEANUT PASTE FOR A SEVERELY MALNOURISHED CHILD.
