Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July 2013, along with other students from Sheffield Hallam we are going to attempt to climb Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the WORLD at 19,340 feet. 

This incredible personal challenge is all in aid of an amazing worthwhile cause Meningitis Research Foundation. Students are most at risk to contracting the virus. MRF is a registered charity which fund research to prevent meningitis and septicaemia. They promote education and awareness to reduce death and disability, and give support to people affected. The sponsorship raised will help with further research. Please visit their website for more information, it is an amazing charity and to be able to help them fund more research is amazing.

 I chose to support the Meningitis Research Foundation as students are at a high risk of getting Meningitis and Septicaemia so I am also aiming to raise awareness of the illness.

Each of us have to raise a minimum of £2650, sounds like a crazy amount but over the next year we will be working hard in any way possible. I will keep you posted on how the rest and I are getting on.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. (So definately tick the Gift Aid when you donate!!) So it's the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
