Recent projects have included:
Emergency Appeal In late 2008, intense fighting in eastern Congo (DRC) led to more than 250,000 people being forced from their homes. WJR launched an appeal for funds to help those affected by the conflict.School building project - ()
Following Cyclone Nargis in May 2008, WJR is working with local partners in to rebuild communities, focusing on building a school.() Cyclone
Following the devastating cyclone in on Saturday 3 May, WJR launched an emergency appeal to channel the Jewish community's response to the disasterEntembeni Old People's Home
This home was established in 1956 by leaders of the city when they noticed large numbers of destitute elderly. Today, the home caters for 75 people aged over 65.
This really is a fantastic charity and 100% of the money raised will go directly to WJR so any donations you can give however small would be really really appreciated!!
