Rocky Road for DPJ Foundation

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Suicide is still a taboo, even though it's the biggest cause of death in men under 45. Those of us who have lost family or a friend to suicide, not only have to deal with the grief but also discover that the means of death made the legitimacy of our grief questionable, exposing our life to judgement from an invisible court and that talking about it is still considered shameful and often not acceptable.... If people spoke about it, they would realise how often this happens and how much needs to be done ... I was so shocked to hear of 12 suicides that have directly affected someone I know in this little corner of Wales... I don't want my children to ever feel ashamed of their dad, so here I am trying to raise awareness and helping the DPJ foundation.
The plan is to start on Friday 8th June in the dark in Slebech and finish at breakfast in Saunderfoot on Saturday 9th June. From the darkness of depression into the hope brought by helping friends.
