For July 2012, I have entered the Rocky Mountain 1200km cycle challenge, which is a big triangle from Kamloops and over the classic Banff to Jasper road through the big mountains.  The 1200km and 8500m of climb has to be completed within 90 hours, including all stops for food and sleep.   You may read more, and see the map (and elevation profile!) at:

That is 750 miles, and Sunwapta Pass and Bow Pass are way higher than Ben Nevis.

I am raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, who do great work for so many people.  I have used justgiving before, which is simple, fast and totally secure - I trust them to keep my details and yours safe, and to send the money you donate along with Gift Aid (where applicable) directly to the charity.
