So....I thought I was just going out for a nice dinner one December evening with Sal, Christian and Catriona. Little did I know that by the end of the evening I would have agreed to run the London Marathon. All 26 miles and 385 yards of it! After the effects of too much wine wore off panic set it. However, I am delighted to be running for The Katie Piper Foundation (www.katiepiperfoundation.org.uk) which was set up by Katie who was viciously attacked with sulphuric acid in March 2008. Katie is a true inspiration and if me running 26 miles (and 385 yards...) helps in any way it will be worthwhile. As Katie says 'what doesn't kill us makes us stronger'......wish me luck!
