On 4th January 2010 my sister in laws sister, Elise, was diagnosed with cancer.  Elise and her husband Mark have since setup a highly ambitious appeal for The Christie to raise £1million towards this charity http://www.eliseforlife.org/

Matt and I plan to climb Mont Blanc later in August and would really like to use this to help raise money for the appeal. We'll be up in the Alps for a fortnight and hope to summit the highest mountain in Europe if our legs, lungs and the weather all hold out!
