Story
Both Gar and myself have been lucky enough to receive lots of great help from great people over the past years and now we would like to do something to to help disabled people who are disadvantaged. SCOPE is an awesome charity that supports disabled people and their families.
I'm not a triathlete and have never done any kind of triathlon race in my life so Gar decided to sign me up to one of the most gruelling races in the world, the Ironman. The race entails a 4km swim, followed by a 180km bike leg and then finishes with a full 42km marathon. Its a massive challenge for me to try and finish this race but we hope the efforts Gar and myself are putting in will help others...

What SCOPE do :
Campaigns - we work with disabled people on the issues that are most important to them and aim to raise awareness, change attitudes and influence government policy.
Help and information - we support disabled people and their families through practical information and support, particularly at the time of diagnosis and in a child’s early years.
Services - we offer a range of services for disabled children and adults, which are primarily focused on those whose complex support needs are not met elsewhere.
Everyone who donates to Scope will go into a draw for either vouchers from Cycle Surgery in Dundrum or a cycling jersey.
