Marathon events are all on hold. Now it's the BIG ONE!!!
I'm going to trek across the Sahara Desert! Well 100km of it anyway. It's going to be tough! -5C to +30C, basic living conditions, no washing! sharing a tent with a camel!
It all takes place in early November.
By the way, I'm walking this one!
As some people may know, my father has Parkinson's Disease, and I've seen the devastating effect it has had on him in a short space of time and the enormous care and support required for a Parkinson's sufferer.
I'm doing all this to raise much needed funds for research to help find a cure for this disease, which affects the lives of so many people, as well as those around them. Please help me if you can, in this the 40th year of the Parkinson's Disease Society. Help us find a cure. Thank you!
