In August I will be going to Ndiadzo, Zimbabwe, a village on the Mozambique border, to help build classrooms for the children in the village and surrounding area. I will be spending two weeks living in the village, sharing the lives of the local people. There is no shortage of children, the teachers are available, and the passion for education is there - all they are lacking are the resources to make it possible to provide suitable buildings. The local people are so committed to the project that they are willing to build the schools for free if someone can provide the materials. That's where we come in. The charity Mission Direct has committed to supporting this project. I have volunteered to help and am looking for support for the work.

Materials for the project will cost about £14,000. I have paid all my costs for getting there, my accomodation and food etc. So every pound that you give will go directly on the project - none will be used to subsidise me or the UK administration etc. 

So please give generously and help us buy the building materials we need and make a difference to the lives of other children.
