Friends of Alalay works with Bolivian street children, offering them love, a home, education and encouragement in their future working lives. We finance educational and self-financing projects: helping street children to help themselves. Every donation goes directly to the kids. www.alalay.co.uk

Story

<p>What happens when you get<em> 6 blokes, a Celtic longboat, a mid life crisis and put them together? -&nbsp;</em><strong>Pembrokeshire Rowing Challenge -&nbsp;</strong>2 days of gruelling rowing in open waters off the Pembrokeshire coast. The&nbsp;challenge is to achieve 50 miles in 2 days. The dates are the 9th and 10th July.&nbsp;The&nbsp;target is to survive and also raise money for <strong>The Autistic Trust</strong> and<strong> Friends of Alalay</strong>, who support Bolivian street children.</p> <p>Thanks to 'Wiseman's Bridge Rowing Club' for the use of their boat and pictures&nbsp;<a href="http://www.wisemansbridgerowingclub.co.uk/">http://www.wisemansbridgerowingclub.co.uk/</a></p> <p>Thanks to MosaicIsland (IT Design and Delivery Consultancy) for helping to fund the challenge&nbsp;<a href="http://www.mosaicisland.co.uk/">http://www.mosaicisland.co.uk/</a></p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>The Team:</strong> Richard Elliott, Steve Martin, Dan Clifton, Roger Holmes, Julian Morgan and Jim Bowyer.
