Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Following the death of my father a couple of months ago, I would like to dedicate my competing in The Games 100 to his memory and raise funds for his chosen charity, the Peace Hospice. This 100 mile challenge event, which takes place over the weekend of 2nd/3rd June, is to be completed as a single continuous day/night walk, against the clock. It starts in the shadow of the Olympic Stadium, meanders down through Surrey and finishes in Windsor.

Father suffered for 50 years with a degenerative and incurable condition that eventually made his twice weekly walk around Asda, accompanying my brother shopping, for him an endurance test of equal proportions to The Games 100. He managed this without complaint until he could literally walk no more.

Sponsoring me will help The Peace Hospice with the wonderful care they provide for people living with a life limiting or terminal illness, some of which have been people I knew.
