Some of you may recall that I said last year that this was going to be a one off event... well, I changed my mind. Some may also remember my dissapointment last year after being overtaken on the last stretch of the Great North Run by a man (or women...or old man or old women) in a full Scooby Do costume. This is something I have struggled to come to terms with so I thought I would have another go. The flip side is that it is all for a good cause, Action Heart. As well as a great charity, I also consider it as an investment just in case I need rehabilitation after the race, although I guess it wouldn't be  great for the charity's PR if I did have heart failure during the course of the race.Thank you for your contributions and for those of you last year (who I conned into thinking it was a one off) who were so generous. With your help, we can kick Scoobies ass.
