Through my work with Hope for Guernsey over the last few years I've been able to support the research of an outstanding team looking at breast and prostate cancer. Based in Southampton, they are using samples provided by the people of Guernsey over the past 40 years to  identify biological markers that may help us to identify cancers at an earlier stage.

The research team are discovering fantastic things- and I want to raise further funds to help them continue their work. In August of this year, I'm heading back into the Channel to attempt the crossing again- I may pick up a world-record for being the oldest to do that, but I would swap that world record for the ability to help the research team see their project through successfully- please give as generously as you can.
