Story

*****UPDATE*****

I have completed the course, doign much better than expected. I did it in 1:19:44, 465th of 1485 who managed to keep their timing tag to the end). Best time of the day was an impressive 0:48:36. Full timing info is here.

Retrospective donations are welcome, I'll shut it down in a couple of weeks.

A big thank-you to everyone who donated/donates.

After initially thinking a 10k obstacle course would be great fun, I've gone through the 'OH CRAP! I FORGOT TO TRAIN!' stage, and have reached the resigned 'Well, I'll have to make the most of the month until the event to get as fit as possible' stage. More info available at the official site: http://www.totalwarrior.co.uk/

Having decided to do something so foolhardy, I figured I may as well try and raise some money while I'm at it! Being aware of how lucky I am to have a fairly easy time with type-1 diabetes, I thought the JDRF was a worthy cause.

Any donations are very gratefully received!
