Hi Everyone,
I have decided to run 10k as part of The Great Scottish Run in Glasgow in aid of Mental Health UK. I am not a runner so this a massive challenge for me...
I am doing this because mental health is extremely important to me; I know a lot of people who have been struggling with their mental health and I am running this for them and everyone else who is in a bad place. Hopefully this will help to raise awareness and try to end the stigma around mental health issues.
Additionally, I am raising money to support my fiance Ross who is trekking through the Cambodian jungle in October as part of Mental Health UK's flagship event 'Walk the Talk'. I have already hiked around 50 miles this summer and recently climbed Ben Nevis to support this cause, this is the final (and for me, the most challenging) event I have planned to support the cause.
Thanks for any support!
