We'd be on our toes to raise money for The Refugee Council because of the fabulous work they do with asylum seekers and refugees seeking sanctuary in the UK.

As a former Regional Volunteer Champion for West Midlands and nominated as Inspirational Champion for England '05, my wish is to flag to refugees the idea that volunteering is the easiest way to understand their new environment and facilitate integration in UK society.
