My Dad was a hero. He joined the Coldstream Guards as a boy-soldier at 14 and served in battle for us all. In his last few years he needed a high level of care and found companionship and security as a Chelsea Pensioner. The staff at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea cared passionately for him and gave him the dignity he deserved until the very second he passed away. Can you believe this has to be funded as a charity?
