I am participating in the Alzheimer's Society 'Coast to Coast' cycle challenge from 8th to 10th July 2011.

Myself along with three friends (Steve Watts, Malcolm Lawrence, and Martyn Waring) will be cycling 170 miles across the country from Workington in Cumbria, to Whitby Bay, Yorkshire. It will be a tough but rewarding experience, cycling around 60 miles per day 'up pass and down dale'.

I guess we all know and love someone who is affected by Alzheimer's, and your support will go directly towards helping people with dementia, their families and carers. Jim Watts will be close to our hearts during this challenge, and I'm sure those of you lucky enough to have known Jim will agree this is a worthwhile cause.
