Shaving off my big hairy beard · 17 January 2016

We're here to bridge the gap between needing Mental Health support due to a devastating Duchenne diagnosis and accessing the NHS services families facing Duchenne need. Therapy empowers families to navigate the complexities of DMD with a greater sense of understanding and emotional well-being.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our friends' son Mitchell was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. As yet, there is no cure, but Harrison's Fund raises money for vital research into finding a cure, and improving the lives of those affected.

I have an oversized (and slightly odorous) beard that my family insist must be removed. I, therefore, thought that I could combine beard-removal with fundraising for this worthy cause. It may not involve physical exertion, but will involve a cut throat razor, for added danger. This will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 15th March 2016, at Mr Hutton's Barbers and Bar.

Any donation, however small, will be greatly appreciated.
