** Update - We're off on the 29th July so not long at all now! We've all been working so hard to raise maximum money for Macmillan. Through street collections, car boot sales, quizzes, fashion show, sweet selling, e baying, sending off phones and ink cartridges, justgiving sites etc etc we've made a whopping £14000 for Macmillan! Between us we've reached the target, however some individuals have raised well over target and some are still under, like myself, so I still need to raise more monies!
I now believe we can raise £15000 for Macmillan by the end of August which would be fantastic, so please keep the support coming. **
Hi everyone,
In July 2010, along with 11 other Exeter students, I will be heading off to Nepal to complete the Everest Base Camp trek for Macmillan Cancer Support, a fantastic cause.
Sam Johnson & I have organised this event through our University RAG (Raising and Giving) organisation, aiming to raise over £14000 in total for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity I'm sure we can all relate to. We chose Macmillan because as a group we've experienced first hand or through close friends the effects of cancer and the amazing work Macmillan does to ease the lives of those suffering.
Any donations, little or large, would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you,
Rose.
(Oh, I can also take cash and cheques....!)
