My story

NEWSFLASH: THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE GABBI AND I POUNDING OUR LITTLE LEGS THROUGH THE STREETS OF LONDON......DRESSED UP AS THE 118 TEAM!!!!!! (maybe!)

That's right, I am jumping on Gabbi's marathon bandwagon, and joining her team to raise money for the fantastic ACTSA - a charity established in 1994 as the successor organisation to the Anti-Apartheid movement - promoting empowerment in southern Africa through development, justice and democracy. The charity campaigns for beneficial trade, investment and aid relationships, to ensure that growth and stability are brought to the region. NOT BAD HEY? As a part of the world I have never had the privilige to visit, this is an ideal start in my journey to learn more about this fascinating and inspiring part of the world, and one which will make my visits when they do happen (and they will!!) a lot more meaningful.

Sooo...the London Marathon? A lifelong dream and taking place this year on April 25th (two days after my birthday!) Our mission is to raise £1,000 each, and running across that finish line having raised £2,000 for ACTSA between us would make me and wassy very happy and very very proud!!!! So please support us, every little amount will help to close in on this currently slightly intimidating target, and we will love you forever - especially all you empoverished recent graduates! No birthday presents please from anyone who would have been so kind - just donations. Hope to see many of you in London in April, and maybe at some crazy Forest-Gump fundraising parties before!!! and THANK YOU all for reading and supporting!

Bear hugs, kisses, and wish me luck as I finish making this page and embark on a run....in the rain.
