<p>Greetings!</p>
<p>I am extremely excited to announce that I will be volunteering for the Fresh Start Foundation in the village of Kwinella in The Gambia, West Africa in March next year where I'll be doing agricultural, decorating and craft work for the school project. This is the second time Lush Cosmetics (where I work) has sent volunteers to Kwinella and I am lucky enough to have been selected to go this time round!</p>
<p>I will be going as part of a team from Lush, who have payed half of the costs, which is fantastic! But it means I am looking to raise 500 smackers to go towards living and flight costs and I need your help :).</p>
<p>The Fresh Start Foundation is a fantastic, grass roots charity set up by Lamin and Rebecca that works with underprivileged communities and children,setting up schools, health centres and providing support for community ventures.</p>

<p>As part of a few fundraising ideas, I and my good pal Rachel will be embarking on a 2 day bicycle ride at the end of January round the Yorkshire Dales! Bearing in mind the excess pounds (literally) on the pair of us, this is going to be a real test of endurance and fitness! We will be aiming to cover near 60 miles in 2 days starting off in the village of Hawes ,North Yorkshire and exploring the rural Dales off road, with final route and date TBC.</p>
<p>Any money raised that exceeds £500 will go to Fresh Start Foundation.</p>
