Wowee that was cold!

We set off from York at 10am, and got to Sandsend at 11. (that was an 8am start for Emily, who only got to sleep at 5am!) When we got there it was seriously windy and cold but, much to our disgust, we had to climb out of our jackets and into our shells.

The water was ICE cold, and it splashed up our legs (which was horrid) then we fell back into the huge waves and became fully submerged...bbrrrrr.

After we got changed on the beach (all the public toilets were closed) we wandered into the cafe....silence. All eyes on us. So we smiled and waved :) yes, we were still BRIGHT GREEN. But, on the plus side, we got a £10 donation from the amused cafe-goers!!

After getting fish and chips and wandering aroud Whitby for abit, we drove home and fell asleep on the sofa....And, to tell you the truth; I haven't fully recovered!
