Virgin London Marathon 2012 · 22 April 2012 ·

Partnering with parents, we support families whose children have additional needs or disabilities by providing compassion, guidance and hope. SNAP helps families across Essex with children 0 – 25 years, with any additional need and disability.

Story

I have decided to run my second marathon on behalf of SNAP, a local charity, who have provided a great deal of support for our family over the last few years.

Jake was unfortunate enough to suffer a stroke in the first days of his life and has a result has a condition which affects his fine and gross motor skills on his right side. He is in reception year at school and doing really well.

Billy was born with Bone Marrow Failure resulting in two bone marrow tranplants before the age of two. Thankfully his treatment has been successful and he is well on the road to recovery.

SNAP offer a very personal and invaluable service. They really are a wonderful resource for the Brentwood area helping children (and their parents) with all sorts of additional needs.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
