This is the 4th time that I am doing this event. I did really well last year - it felt like I was flying. I did the first mile in just over 8 minutes. By the time I got to the 10 mile mark, I was staring to realise that I was on for a sub 2 hour finish! I completed it in 1hr 56 minutes, which is a personal best for me. This year I am hoping to do better than last year, but I wont be disappointed if I don't succeed! I'm mainly doing it as it is a really good route and is very scenic!

For a bit of background, I started doing this race back in 2006 after I had completed the Corrieyairick Challenge. I just wanted to do another race before winter set in, and this seemed ideal! I've been hooked ever since.
