My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I turned 40 this year and set myself three challenges: to run my first Virgin London Marathon, complete a triathlon and cycle from John O' Groats to Land's End.
I've decided to use the marathon to try to raise some money for a terrific charity, the Mark Evison Foundation.
It was set up in memory of a Welsh Guards officer from Dulwich who died aged 26 after being shot in Afghanistan in 2009. I never met Mark but interviewed his mum, Margaret, for a story in the Evening Standard (http://tinyurl.com/3yp7sh9).

I'd be extremely grateful if you could make a donation to Mark's charity - it's sure to spur me on as I aim to complete the marathon in under four hours (Mark managed 3 hours 14 mins). Thanks
