The Lymphoma Research Trust supports research into the treatment of lymphoma. It makes grants to researchers at the Lymphoma Trials Office based at University College London, and also to doctors at other universities and hospitals in the UK.

Story

Mark was diagnosed with Hogdkins Lymphoma in 2004 after being mis-diagnosed for two years. Following extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy he was fortunate to be given the all clear in 2009.

A friend of Mark's Alex Nicholson, is also supporting this charity in memory of her Husband Paul Maddox who lost his battle with Hodgkins Lyphoma a month before his 24th Birthday.

We have no idea how many young lives have been taken by this type of cancer, but Hodgkins Lymphoma is treatable if caught early enough.  Our hope with our fundraising is not just to give the charity more money to continue their life saving research, but to raise awareness of the disease and the symptoms.  We hope that we might save one young life and family from going through what they did.
