For anyone who knows me well, my close friends, family, work
colleagues possibly many more, will know I have been in a very dark and dangerous place for the last 25 odd weeks (more like years but I may go into that at a later date). Mentally I had given up and I abandoned everyone in my life, including family and my two young daughters, which I still struggle to forgive myself for, I locked myself away from the world, I did not speak to see anyone for 14 weeks even my youngest daughter on her 2^nd Birthday, I went from from hotel to hotel so nobody could find me, I even ended up living in my
car for the last 2/3 weeks in December, , I write this today in a much a better space, and I’m currently going through recovery which has given me the tools to enjoy life again. While it is still early days my outlook on life is so much more positive and one of the main reasons why I have signed up to do this boxing challenge to give back, to a very worth while charity and cause, we all have known someone who has had or gone through cancer, it will affect everyone in our lifetime in one way or another.
