As the hospital’s official charity, we will use your donation to make sure our doctors and nurses have everything they need. We pay for new projects, buildings & equipment to make a difference for patients at what is often a difficult time. Let us know if you’re supporting a particular department.

Story

On October 20th 2010, good friends of mine Chloe and Simon Baker lost their firstborn son Solomon at birth, which inflicted enough hurt and questions to last a lifetime. But they are not the only ones - every day in the UK 17 babies are born sleeping. The aftercare that they received from the staff at Yeovil District Hospital was outstanding so we are supporting the Flying Colours for Yeovil Women's Hospital to help create an environment that reflects the personal service they deliver.

With my good friend Simon Baker, we have come up with a challenge worthy of your generosity! We will run 5 ultramarathons in 5 consecutive days from the North to the South of Wales. This is 230 miles, meaning an average of 46 miles per day.

So please dig deep and help support this event to help remember Solomon in a way that will have a positive impact on other people's lives. With much love and thanks!
