our aim is to support the families who have lost loved ones to suicide, and for individuals who are in suicidal crisis. We also work to raise awareness around the issue of suicide and to keep our communities safer from suicide

Story

In the past seven years I have cut a few inches off my hair twice, and lost three people I care about to cystic fibrosis and suicide. After playing the odds wrong its time for another haircut, and there is an opportunity to make a positive change in the world.

I am raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Suicide Awareness because the I know the pain of losing people to these tragedies. I will carry the most incredible memories of these people with me forever, and they made me a better person than I could have hoped to be without them. But I cannot have new experiences with them. There will be no new ridiculous stories; like when Matt drunkenly poured a glass of water over someone telling them; “No politics,” in the calmest possible tone, or when James somehow successfully break the ice with people by asking them what type of bridge they would be.

There will always be problems with the world, but reducing the impact of cystic fibrosis, and giving people an answer other than suicide will make it a better place. Whether that is just a couple of quid or a bigger donation anything to help these causes would be appreciated.

I’m doing this on 9th June, post a style you think I should go with alongside any donations and I’ll use whatever the highest bidder goes with (provided it is appropriate for working in schools).
