Rowan team are going to travel from Wembley to the London Eye in wheelchairs!!

All six team members will be traveling by public transport in three wheelchairs, someone will be in the wheelchairs at ALL times, from Wembley Park tube station to the London Eye. In doing this we hope to experience a little of the challenges our children overcome every day.

We will discover what it is like to..

travel by tube,

bus,

self propel on the uneven streets of London,

and experience other people's perception of us..... (which I am sure will be mixed).

We will be collecting money for The PACE Centre and taking the time to talk to people and tell them about the fantastic children we work with, a little more about the challenges they overcome and how PACE works to assist them to develop their independence.
