Penn Seven and Super Fun Run · 19 June 2011

Our vision is that patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in our area can choose how and where they want to be cared for towards the end of life. We provide 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home care and support for all the family during the illness and through bereavement.

Story

On Sunday 19th June 2011, Fathers' Day, Kate, Lyn and Tori will be running to raise money for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home. Kate is running the Penn Seven and Tori and Lyn will be running the Super Fun Run. (That's a total of 13 miles between us!)

Last year, Hedley Rowley (Kate and Tori's grandad, Lyn's father-in-law) died of fibrosis of the lungs and we are very grateful for all the support that Iain Rennie Hospice at Home gave in the last few months. Thanks to IRHH, Grandad was able to stay at home and be around his family.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please give what you can. In the immortal words of Tesco, every little helps!
