Story

Updated on Jan 28th 2013 at 6:40 PM from the JustGiving API

We have been interviewed and, appeared on page 5 of the evening gazette on Wednesday the 23rd of January 2013

my little boy Dominic was born on October the 13th 2012 at James cook hospital. He was born 14 weeks premature and weighed just 2lb 3oz. For 3 months the neonatal team have worked hard taking care of him and keeping him alive, saving his life as many as 5 or 6 times a day. Words could never convey how grateful we are for all the hard work and dedication they have put on to make sure our son comes home fit and healthy. The time has come for Dominic to come home now and the best way I can think of to say thankyou is to raise as much money so they can buy equipment and make their job easier.

the neonatal team, from the doctors down to the cleaners who keep the unit sterile and as free from infection as possible are the real superstars of this world and although they receive more chocolates and biscuits than we can imagine it is rare for them to get external funding. Please, please dig deep for this fantastic cause. If you don't have much remember every penny counts

thank you
