It’s not your money I need directly, it’s your vote. 

I will pay to Cancer Research for every vote I get.

It will cost 25p plus your standard text rate, only one vote per mobile phone, you’ll get a reply text thanking you for the vote.

Due to rules of the competition I can’t buy your vote so I pay 10p (less than half the value of the vote) for each vote to Cancer Research.  I’m up against 29 other contestants, if I get the most votes I win 2 weeks windsurf coaching which will be serialised in an international windsurf magazine.  I will also make a further significant contribution to Cancer Research which I have pledged directly to one of the fund raising managers but I can’t disclose the amount here due to competition rules. 

I will need in the region a 1000 votes to win, so please spread the word and get as many friends and family to vote for me.

Myself and Cancer Research UK will get the total vote count from the competition organisers after the closing date which is 10^th August 2007.  I will update the amount raised manually weekly.

5th August update: currently in 2nd place wth 350 votes 116 behind the lead, 5 days to close the gap!
